Synopsis
An opportunity has emerged for proactive, ongoing oversight of generation assets – through various lenses – to consider technical performance, financial forecasts (IRR and debt considerations) and ED compliance.
With tariffs being “squeezed”, and a resulting increased focus on O&M, capex completion and administration costs, real-time performance data is required to provide all stakeholders with information to assess performance and compliance, based on the PPA considerations.
Orion Asset Management has been established to provide a credible outsourced option for IPPs and/or generators, and is supported by three recognised industry players who are leaders in their respective sectors, namely:
- Cresco Group (financial, commercial and associated projections);
- Harmattan Renewables (technical consulting); and
- ED Platform (economic development, environmental compliance and B-BBEE).
The webinar, moderated by Chris Yelland, MD at EE Business Intelligence, will serve to introduce Orion Asset Management, to explain the requirements of IPPs and generators, and to detail the opportunity seized by Orion and its three partner companies to serve their ongoing financial, commercial, technical, ED and compliance needs.
