The date of Enlit Africa 2024 – an event for energy professionals - has been rescheduled to take place from 21-23 May, a week earlier than originally planned, to avoid a clash with South Africa’s elections on 29 May.
Enlit Africa 2024 was originally set to take place from 28-30 May. The venue - Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) – remains the same.
“The announcement of South Africa’s Presidential and Provincial General Election during the original Enlit Africa date means this change is necessary to ensure that all attendees, including those who need to vote in their designated areas, can do so without hindrance,” says Chanelle Hingston, Group Director: Power, Energy & Water of VUKA Group, the organisers of the event.
Enlit Africa has contacted and validated the changes with all industry stakeholders, institutions, sponsors and government officials.
The event organisers encourage attendees to review and adjust travel and accommodation bookings. “Our team is ready to assist you with any changes or additional arrangements you may need,” Hingston says.
