Botswana’s Water Utilities Corporation has issued a tender for a technical feasibility study to explore the implementation of floating solar photovoltaic (PV) plants at several managed dams. The tender seeks bids from qualified firms to evaluate the viability of integrating floating solar PV systems at key sites.
The study will focus on the Bokaa, Lotsane, Letsibogo and Dikgatlhong dams. Interested parties must meet specific criteria to qualify for consideration including expertise across several disciplines (electrical engineering, energy management, civil engineering, environmental services, financial management and legal services).
