BEKA Schréder recently supplied a highmast LED lighting solution to the Clayville Industrial area of Olifantsfontein in Gauteng. This new installation increases visibility at night, improving the overall sense of security in the area.

The recently launched OMNISTAR-ECO LED floodlight was chosen because it offered a cost-effective highmast lighting solution and met the municipal specification. Compared to a 400 W high-pressure sodium (HPS) lamp, the new floodlight offers energy savings up to 55%. This new luminaire guarantees optimal lighting to ensure safety and comfort. It offers a real alternative to fittings equipped with traditional lamps, with the added advantages that high-quality LED luminaires offer, viz., improved colour rendering index, low energy consumption, low maintenance costs, and a short payback time.

The OMNISTAR-ECO is an addition to the OMNISTAR family and was designed to provide an energy-saving, high-performance and flexible floodlight for areas where a quality replacement from conventional light sources is needed.
