Menlo Electric South Africa and FoxESS officially celebrated their new partnership in Johannesburg recently. The distributor is creating a pattern of bringing well-known and respected global brands to the booming South African market. This is the second announcement of its kind for the company, the first indicating to the market that they are an official distributor of JA Solar panels.

Spurred on by load shedding the energy transition in South Africa is accelerating, and with that increased demand for quality solar components, one might assume it is difficult to find distributors with stock. This is far from the case for Menlo Electric South Africa, with their international network they can meet the growing market head-on. This is most likely why Menlo captured 10% of the market within their first quarter of operations. The company is showing they are not slowing down yet by adding FoxESS inverters and batteries to its product portfolio.
“FoxESS is a long-standing partner of Menlo Electric in Europe and we are excited to bring their innovative solar inverter and battery solutions to the South African residential installation market. Our companies also share the values of quality workmanship and maintaining good relationships with installers and customers which is why we are sure this will continue to be a strong cooperation moving forward,” says Heino Louw, the general manager of Menlo Electric South Africa.
FoxESS is, at present, a top leading solar inverters producer. The manufacturer produces modern and universal products for applications in the renewable energy industry. They offer the longest warranty on their on-grid and hybrid inverters, chargers, LFP energy storage, and anti-fire safety switches, as well as impressive inverter efficiency statistics. Their use of the highest quality components ensures they provide suppliers with top-quality products.
Menlo Electric stocks their single-phase and three-phase, hybrid inverters with WiFi and EPS ranging from 6000 W to 12000 W, as well as 2,45 kWh high voltage lithium batteries. The latest innovations are ideal for residential installations, due to their high efficiency and relative affordability.
This partnership marks the next phase in the growth of Menlo Electric and shows they are keeping their promise of keeping a portfolio of top-quality products, that are not necessarily available in South Africa yet.
