Resolution Circle, a provider of technical training solutions, in partnership with the University of Johannesburg, has launched its newly revamped training centre in Welkom.
The centre, which was initially established in 1981 under the stewardship of Anglo American, is owned by Harmony Gold Mining Company, which extended the lease to Resolution Circle following the departure of Adcorp Technical Training.
The revamped training centre will offer turnkey skills development solutions tailored to various sectors, including energy, gas, and water, manufacturing, mining, and transport, says CEO Gideon Potgieter. “For the Welkom site specifically, we will expand into agriculture, agro-processing, and renewable energy, reflecting the region’s unique needs and opportunities.”
In addition to its traditional focus on apprenticeships, Resolution Circle offers other categories such as Candidacy, Short Learning Programmes, and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) for TVET College and University of Technology Engineering diploma students.
