Siemens Southern Africa has launched SINOVA – a new range of low-voltage electrical products designed for industrial applications, buildings, infrastructure and utilities.
The product line is intended to support electrical access in emerging markets with focus on functionality and affordability, says Kruben Bennie, Country Business Unit Head for Electrical Products at Siemens’ Smart Infrastructure division in Sub-Saharan Africa. “In today’s energy-dependent world, it’s important to ensure that emerging market consumers are not left behind. Siemens is expanding access to advanced, user-friendly electrical systems in Africa and other regions.”
The SINOVA range is structured into three categories: electrical protection, final distribution and safety control. The portfolio includes solutions for electrical protection, control, switching and metering designed for use by electrical planners, consultants, contractors, installers, distributors, panel builders and original equipment manufacturers.
SINOVA’s development is tailored to meet the specific needs of emerging markets where “reliable yet affordable” electrical solutions are in demand. The product range was recently introduced in Southeast Asia and is designed to tackle common challenges in electrical installations in developing regions. “The product line simplifies electrical installations while helping industry professionals streamline processes and complete projects faster,” Bennie says.
