RS South Africa, a trading brand of RS Group, a provider of industrial and electronic solutions, has launched its Better World Claims Based Framework, enabling customers to make more informed and responsible product choices by selecting verified sustainable product alternatives.
As part of the new framework, the group has also expanded its Better World product range by 10 000 products, including 50 new suppliers and over 1 000 new products specific to sustainable energy solutions.
The new Better World product framework was developed and verified by external sustainability consultants. The framework categorises product sustainability claims into three categories:

Made more sustainably – products produced using sustainable materials or manufacturing processes.

Sustainable solution – products that help customers reduce energy and emissions and support health and safety.

Supports circularity – products with an increased lifespan or that can be reused, repaired or recycled.
