Norwegian company Heimdall Power has developed an industrial Internet of Things device called Neuron, which monitors high-voltage power lines and optimises power grids.The sensor, referred to as a “magic ball”, is a small, lightweight device designed to monitor various aspects of power grid performance. It weighs approximately 3,6 kg and is the size of a bowling ball and can easily be deployed on power lines, Heimdall Power says.
