There is a new energy landscape, driven by the accelerated uptake of renewables and the rise of the “prosumer”. Grids of the future will need to consider the energy transition, compounded by various disruptions, while supporting utilities, which play a critical role in managing the complexity of electricity distribution.
“We need the right electrons at the right moment and distribution system operators (DSOs) are the conductors of this symphony,” says Vladimir Milovanovic, Vice President of Power Systems Anglophone Africa at Schneider Electric.
